Emirates Float Glass (EFG) Company, a Dubai Investments subsidiary, has announced commencing operations at its new production in unit in Masaiee to boost its production capacities to meet demand in the windshield sector.

At investments worth AED 10 million, the new facility boasts new European technology and machinery, added to fully-maintained programs and production lines, with minimal manual intervention, and consistent with the best quality standards in windshield manufacture.

The launch of this new unit is consistent with EFG’s ambitious growth plan, which seeks to boost its current customer base in the automotive sector, EFG general manager Ghassan Meshaal said.
